The Mechanical Equipment team provides a vast variety of services for static & rotating equipment as well as packages in project oriented and company knowledge schemes.

Our involvement in project starts at a very early stage and goes from concept up to fabrication control and expediting. We support other disciplines during detailed engineering phase in order to prepare necessary information for purchasing. Our knowledge and experience in design based on European and international codes, standards and engineering practices allows us to best serve our clients and project needs.

The core areas of our Mechanical equipment are:

– Pressure Vessels

– Heat and Mass Transfer Equipment

– Rotary Equipment

Besides, the following studies are being fulfilled in mechanical equipment discipline;

– Material Study & Selection

Material selection and corrosion control studies result in detailed estimation of construction materials by affecting the weights, capital cost of process equipment, piping, and pipelines used in on- and offshore facilities. Results of these studies are also used in corrosion management and corrosion inhibition strategy. We define the optimum solution based on best balance between CAPEX and OPEX in a specified design life.

– Mechanical Handling Study

Material handling study is a joint effort where our engineers and client form a team to review and propose solutions. Material handling studies are originated in the Mechanical Equipment department and contain input from other engineering disciplines i.e. process, piping, E&IC as well as HSE. The results of these studies are tailor made to the project maintenance and operation requirements, client strategy (renting or purchasing machines) etc. Multiple choices and combinations are investigated to select the optimized scenario considering cost, reliability, and availability criteria.
